American Goldfinch
The American goldfinch is a small North American bird in the finch family. It is a migratory bird.
The male American Goldfinch is a vibrant yellow in the summer and an olive color during the winter, while the female is a dull yellow-brown shade which brightens only slightly during the summer.
Human activity has generally benefited the American goldfinch. It is often found in residential areas, attracted to bird feeders which increase its survival rate.

Downy Woodpecker
Downy woodpeckers have white tufts at the base of their black bills. Males and females look the same, except that males have a small red patch at the back of their neck. Young females do not have any red at all. Downy Woodpeckers give a checkered black and white impression. The black upperparts are checked with white on the wings, the head is boldly striped, and the back has a broad white stripe down the center.

Evening Grosbeaks adult male Evening Grosbeak are yellow and black birds with a prominent white patch in the wings. They have dark heads with a bright yellow stripe over the eye . females and immatures are mostly gray with white-and-black wings and a greenish - yellow tinge to the neck and flanks.

Gray Jays are medium-sized, gray songbirds with lighter gray bellies. They have a long tail and a short, black bill. The tips of the dark-gray tail feathers are white. The head is grayish-white with a gray crown and white forehead. The eyes are dark. The short legs and feet are gray.
Pine Grosbeck
Pine grosbeaks are known to be the largest of the northern finch species. They appear to be tame and when approached they do not fly away immediately. This gives you the chance to watch them.
They are bright red color in the winter and because of this bright color, they contrast with the white snow beautifully.
White Throat Sparrow
This large, plump sparrow has a long tail but their bill is tiny. Their face and head area, has black and white stripes, with a little yellow spot between eye and bill. The little sparrow has a very distinct white throat patch below its face and above its breast.
