On the sheet to the left, you will find a materials list that was sent home with each child in June.  On this sheet, you will find materials that are required for your child's upcoming school year.  Please note, on this sheet you will find a list for grade 4, 5, & 6.

We are excited to inform you that Sprucewood Academy has transitioned to a new online payment and forms system called RYCOR. This system will make it more convenient for parents and the school community to complete forms and make payments by doing it online in the comfort of your home using any smart device. 

The bus route plans for Sprucewood Academy are determined according to District Policy and are made public on their website.  Clicking on the above link will bring you to the District's Transportation Portal.

At NLESD one of our greatest priorities is ensuring that all our students arrive safely at school each and every day.

To enhance our existing absence-checking procedure, we are using a more efficient student absence reporting system called SafeArrival.  This system will reduce the time it takes to verify student attendance, make it easy for you to report your child’s absence and easy for staff to respond to unexplained student absences.

Sprucewood Academy offers our families the services of Chartwells.  This food service provider offers you the option of ordering items for recess and/or lunch.  On our school's website, we provide you with a daily menu and a convenient option to order online.  To the left you will find the menu offered during the 2022-23 school year, but Chartwells suggest that additional items will be coming for the fall.

At Sprucewood, technology integration is a big part of your child’s education.  Computer usage, Wi-Fi access, Google Classroom, and related applications are a large part of what we do.  As a result, remembering usernames and passwords are very important.
